The first issue of Humanist Australia's magazine came out dedicated entirely to animal issues, animal rights, veganism, etc. It made me think, what would humanist groups be doing at the moment to bring about humanist change in the world. Animal rights is certainly one but I can't help feel there are a lot of compelling issues. I'll toss in a grab bag. Others can add to the list or suggest activism for any work zone.
Governance and Democracy
How do we get better people, better policies? Why are so many people untrusting and wrapped in weird views about this? How do we back the corruption level down? In Australia it seems to be getting very high indeed.
Science and Reason
There are strong anti-science, anti-reason, pro conspiracy theory moves afoot (ref QAnnon). Why is it happening? What can be done about this?
Education
Education appears to be being corrupted not only by anti-science groups but by commercialism. What do we need to do to get education rocking along with better development goals and free for all?
The Equalities
Even racism isn't gone, never mind sexism and oppression of gender minorities. Are there ways to bring about broader tolerance and less biased thinking?

Extras brought up on facebook
Global Warming (a science and reason sub topic). Impacts on peoples lives. Much of the anti science is commercially driven.
Economic Reason. When people say unemployment benefits must be less than the poverty line to provide an incentive to work they ignore other incentives like higher pay.
